Designed to fight childhood cancer, the Georgetown Jingle is ultimately about the children and teenagers who are living with cancer every day. Each year patients volunteer to be Patient Ambassadors for the Jingle. These patients and their families are partnered with a participating designer, and they willingly share their stories, their disappointments and their successes with all of us. Every time a member of the Jingle team walks into the pediatric clinic at the Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, one is a struck by the artwork on the ceilings and on the walls; the unflappable parent comforting a tired child; the tireless action of the staff; the smiles on all the faces; the courage that each and every child and adult must have to walk through those doors each day.
2012 Patient Ambassadors coming soon!
